You will create new education opportunities for kids in remote island schools. Replacing diesel generators frees up large amounts of money for education.

These systems also provides reliable power. Often schools cannot afford fuel or the generator has failed -- sure makes night study and computer science difficult!

What a great way for the rugby community to take a stand against climate change. Every litre of diesel saved stops 2.45 kilograms of carbon dioxide going into the atmosphere.

Rugby communities are brought closer together as they work toward a common altruistic goal.  It's a good news story that can only strengthen relationships between Pacific and non-Pacific rugby nations.  It's also our hope that by helping kids and the environment you will be inspired to make the world a better place in other ways.

Many reasons

Perhaps you're a passionate club member seeing the potential of a rugby-a-thon to further unite your club

or you've visited the Pacific and understand the difference small contributions can make

or you are motivated to do something about climate change

or you simply reckon it's a good way to make a difference in the world.
